Buckley Homestay is a large and sunny two storey home with spectacular scenery and beautiful views over Wellington, Cook Strait and the surrounding mountains. You may sit in the award winning garden or you may like to join me in my home. I am a trained nurse and love cooking and gardening. I am interested in food, wine, travel, relaxing and meeting people. I have travelled extensively and I speak English and Dutch. Alternatively you may like to take time out for yourself in the modern, tastefully decorated self-contained guest suite with private entrance, balcony, TV, tiled conservatory, refrigerator and microwave. In addition I offer a wide variety of extra facilities and services including fresh flowers, hairdryer, hairdresser, telephone and dinners by arrangement. Pets and children welcome. Take time out to surf or swim at our safe local beach or enjoy complimentary tea and coffee with a good book. Buckley Homestay is on a bus route and a wide range of restaurants is available nearby. Whether you desire company or privacy - the choice is yours.

The private self contained suite downstairs comprises a private bathroom, one queen sized bed in a bedroom and two single beds in the lounge, sleeping four in total.

The bed and breakfast contains one large bedroom with a super king sized bed, and a separate room with a single bed. The bathroom is shared with the host.
